Self-employed Persons
This program is built for self-employed persons in a cultural or athletic relevant experience. The applicant must have been taken part in cultural activities or athletics at a world-class level or have been self-employed. There are corresponding points that based from your Education, Experience, Age, Language ability and adaptability. A minimum of 35 points will be needed to be eligible for this stream.

If your profession is on this list and is willing AND able to be self-employed in Canada. Here are the criteria that you need to meet to be eligible to apply for permanent residence:
• In the past 5 years, you must have at least 2 years experience as a self-employed person or 2 years participating in at a world-class level or 1 year of a combination of both
• At least a minimum of secondary education in Canada or equivalent (foreign credentials must have an Educational Credential Assessment)
• Your age not older than 51 years old
• Have Language test with at least CLB 4 on all 4 skills
